Different accent? No problem!

Getting to a C1 level is being able to hear and listen like a native speaker, but we know it gets a little hard to understand some dialects or accents if our ears are not accostumed to them so we have a solution for you, we have found and selected different radio stations for you to practice your listening skill on a daily basis. If you prefer not to listen to specific subjects like on podcasts or audiobooks as suggested on the previous post, you can listen to music, or talks between the broadcasters, etc. It's another option depending on your mood of the day!

To make it a little easier for you we have gathered a couple of resources where you can hear different audios.

The first one is a fantastic and very helpful platform, it's a website from the IDEA, the International Dialects of English Archive. It has a global map where you can see a red dot on every single country and choose the one you want to hear. The majority of the podcasts have an ortographic transcription and a few of them also have a phonetic one.

The second one is a website we selected is www.internetradiouk.com, it has plenty radio stations, and the ones we chose for you to hear are listed below, check them out!
